About

Hi, I’m Quinlan! I’m a photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I’ve always been drawn to the idea of capturing real life as it happens. I didn’t grow up thinking I’d become a photographer. In fact, it wasn’t until I studied abroad in Norway that I really picked up a camera and started seeing the world differently. That trip changed everything. It was the first time I saw how photography could freeze a feeling, not just a moment.

Since then, I’ve poured myself into learning the craft. I invested in top-tier Canon gear. I’ve spent hundreds of hours editing with Lightroom, Photoshop, and Final Cut Pro, and have taken every opportunity to work with real people – whether it’s couples, graduates, athletes, pets, or families. I regularly attend professional seminars and photography workshops to stay up to date on the latest trends and equipment. I even took a course on photo books at the University of Illinois to better understand how stories come together in a visual format.

What matters most to me is connection. I want my work to feel personal. When you hire me, you’re not working with a big company or passing through some automated booking process. It’s just me. I show up, I listen, and I try to create something that feels true to you.

I’ve been honored to receive a few early recognitions for my work, including:

Photography has already opened so many doors for me, and this is just the beginning. I’m excited to keep building, keep growing, and keep helping people tell their stories in a way that feels real.

Thanks for being here.
